An army kid was boasting(自夸)about his father to a navy（海軍）kid.

一個陸軍的孩子正在向海軍的孩子吹噓他的父親。

“My dad is an engineer. He can do everything. Do you know the Alps?”

“我爸爸是工程師，他什么都能設(shè)計。你知道阿爾卑斯山嗎？”

“Yes，”said the navy kid.

“知道，”海軍的孩子說。

“My dad built it.”

“那是我爸爸建的?！?/p>

Then the navykid spoke：“And do you know the Dead Sea?”

海軍的孩子說話了：“你知道死海嗎？”

“Yes，”said the army kid.

“知道，”陸軍的孩子答道。

“It's my dad who killed it!”replied the navy kid.

“是我爸爸殺死了它！”海軍的孩子說。

Teacher: Now class， whatever I ask， I want you all to answer at once，how much is 6 plus 4?

父親在哪兒

Two brothers were looking at some beautiful paintings.

兄弟倆在看一些美麗的油畫。

“Look，”said the elder brother，“How nice these paintings are!”

“看，”哥哥說，“這些畫多漂亮呀！”

“Yes，”said the younger，“ but in all these paintings there are only the mother and the children. Where is the father?”

The elder brother thought for a while and then said：“He was painting the pictures.”
