本刊創(chuàng)刊于1985年,是由中國科學(xué)院主管,中國科學(xué)院山西煤炭化學(xué)研究所主辦,科學(xué)出版社出版,向國內(nèi)外公開發(fā)行的國家級學(xué)術(shù)刊物(季刊)??d內(nèi)容為有關(guān)炭材料及其分支學(xué)科的基礎(chǔ)科學(xué)、技術(shù)科學(xué)和與炭材料有關(guān)的邊緣學(xué)科領(lǐng)域研究的最新成果,設(shè)有研究論文、研究簡報(bào)、綜述、專論、學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)信息等欄目。主要讀者對象是從事與炭材料的研究、制造、應(yīng)用、教學(xué)有關(guān)的廣大科技工作者和高等院校師生。
