Water Science and Engineering于2008年創(chuàng)刊，以水科學研究與水工程建設為論述主題，主要刊登水科學研究、水工程建設、水資源保護、水生態(tài)修復等方面用英文撰寫的原創(chuàng)性研究(技術)論文，著重報道關于地球水圈研究的新事實、新概念、新理論、新方法；反映在暴雨、洪水、干旱、水資源、水環(huán)境等領域中的最新科技成果和發(fā)展趨勢；交流在江河治理、跨流域調水、水電能源、生態(tài)修復等水工程建設中的新技術和新經驗以及國內外相關學術會議及技術交流等動態(tài)信息。WSE雜志的主要讀者對象是與此有關的研究人員、工程師及高校師生。
