本刊現(xiàn)為國家自然科學(xué)基金委員會重點(diǎn)資助期刊，是大氣科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的學(xué)術(shù)性刊物，堅(jiān)持“百花齊放，百家爭鳴”的方針，努力反映大氣科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的最新研究成果，及時(shí)刊登有創(chuàng)造性的學(xué)術(shù)論文及評述性文章，報(bào)道大氣科學(xué)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的新動向、新問題。國內(nèi)外大氣科學(xué)領(lǐng)域著名科學(xué)家均向我刊投稿，編委由國內(nèi)外大氣科學(xué)領(lǐng)域知名科學(xué)家共40多人組成。
